The Worst Witch

Something quick i did for my own amusement, aswell as abit of sketching practice...

I was at a place i havent been since highschool yesterday... THE LIBRARY! DUN DUN DUUUN.
And found a bin of old comics books they had some of em i rented there as a kid.
It reminded me of this, Melusine.
A belgian/French comic book series i read alot as a kid.
About a witch who lives in a haunted house and studies magic and stuff.
It was a fun comic.

I couldnt find any books from the series in the bin however so i had to google some images.
I even found a free download to the whole set! In...french.
Still, the pictures themselves are pretty nostalgic and i really like the artstyle.
In fact, i never really enjoyed reading American comics or Jappanese Manga's n stuff, i find these to have a special apeall and i might have to try and learn a thing or two from it.

And looking back at the title character, she may or may not have been a subconscious inspiration for Sam. O:

Which prompted me to make this sketch.

I might do more in the future.
